PRP Treatment – Patient Information
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) uses a small sample of your own blood, which is processed to concentrate your platelets and growth factors.
The PRP is then injected into targeted areas of the face or scalp to support tissue repair, collagen stimulation and hair growth.
PRP is a medical procedure and results vary between individuals; multiple sessions are often recommended.
Common side effects include temporary redness, swelling, bruising and mild discomfort at the injection sites.
PRP is not suitable for everyone; a full consultation is required to assess your medical history, explain benefits and risks, and answer your questions.
